Automated Weekly Match Report Generation

Objective: Remove manual report production and deliver consistent post-match analysis packs to coaching staff within 24 hours of full-time. Tools: Opta, Python, Tableau. Approach: Built an end-to-end Python pipeline that pulled Opta event data post-match, ran through a standardised set of KPIs, and populated a pre-designed Tableau template. The report was exported as a PDF and distributed to the coaching group automatically. Outcomes: Reduced post-match turnaround from 4 hours of manual work to under 30 minutes. Reports were delivered consistently across a full league season.
